Welcome to Birmingham

In March, we announced that we would be expanding our operations to complement our main development studio in Twycross. This month that plan came to fruition with the opening of our new Digbeth studio, situated in the heart of Birmingham.

While the studio still isn’t completely finished ("this is where the hard work really begins” as I was told by Executive Producer Jim), there are still a couple of ways to get a sneak peek at what’s going in inside. Last week local news programme Central News filmed a short segment which is now available on their site – if you’re surfing the internet from the UK, that is. If you happen to reside outside the British Isles, we’re hoping to get our grubby mitts on a non-geo locked version in the next few weeks.

If you can’t wait that long – and let’s face it, we know you can’t – we have also produced our own video which is now available on our YouTube channel. Basically the video consists of just under three minutes of insider interviews, Kinect Sports test footage, and a quick guided tour of the dedicated art and test areas by Site Manager Lynne.

Now that you’ve been through the keyhole, so to speak, you can expect similar videos touring our original and still very active Manor Park HQ in the coming months – who said we aren’t open?
